Autumn Wreath

I figured that since October was almost over I should probably get around to making the fall wreath I bought supplies for months ago.  You know, before I blink and Thanksgiving is over and gone.

This bad boy only cost me about $5 because I already had the wreath and wood letter.  The flowers came from Dollar Tree and the burlap was 1/2 off at Michaels.

I didn’t end up using the white flowers.

Paint the wood letter golden, and attach it to the wreath.

Wreath 1

Make a bow from the burlap.

Wreath 2

Attach a few flowers with hot glue.  Voila.

Only thing is, I’m not sure that I love it.  The L looks a little odd to me.  Any suggestions?  Would it look better on the inside of the wreath?

  1. I think the letter just needs something, ummm, like green and red polka dots or something. Or stripes, I don’t know, just a pop of color to match the flowers. I’m kinda of ocd about things matching though so that’s just me!! 😀

    1. I was planning on polka dots, but changed my mind at the last minute. Maybe I’ll give it a try after all.
