Blog-tember, Day 9: Oh, the places you’ll go…

Day 9 prompt: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?

The quote above pretty much sums up how I feel about traveling. There are a zillion places on my to-go list, but Greece is the place I would choose if I could go anywhere right now. The history fascinates me, the landscape is so varied and gorgeous, and it’s one of the few places in Europe that Jerm has any interest in visiting. We even considered it briefly for our 10th anniversary last year but decided we’d wait until the girls were a little older before going. Someday, though.

So where would you go if you could pick anywhere in the world? I’d love to hear!

  1. The place I’ve been dreaming about is Italy. Jason and I were going to go for our 25th anniversary, but decided to wait until we had the money saved. We just celebrated our 30th and are planning to go in the next 9 to 12 months. It totally depends on finding the right airline tickets. We are blessed with Alaska Airline miles so I am working with the partner desk to find a time and amount of miles that is right for us. Most likely we will fly into Milan or Venice. I want to see so much of the country, but think I will have to narrow our travels down a little (to enjoy it to the fullest).

    1. Ooooh, Italy is high on my list, too. I’d love to go to Venice and Rome! Hope you guys have a wonderful time, be sure to post some photos on FB. 🙂

      1. I will definitely post pictures on FB and let everyone know what we liked the most. I am getting so excited to go!

  2. I have never really wanted to travel outside the US but have been thinking about a mission trip to Mexico in the next couple years. We would fly into TX and see you of course, get a rental car and drive almost to the boarder where our missionary friends are. They would take us over into Mexico for the mission work. That’s about all the out of states traveling I will do for a while. Although, I have always thought it would be amazing to see Ireland. But that’s just a dream.
