Blog-tember, Day 10: A day in photos

Saturday, Sept. 10: A day in your life! Take us through it with you by sharing a photo each hour of the day.

Okay, here goes. I doubt I got one every single hour, but close!

7am - Woke up early(ish) and finished up this book, which was my first Agatha Christie and was pretty excellent.

10am - Finished watching the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. Although I've seen this once before years ago, I enjoyed it so much more this time around. Mr. Collins alone makes it worth watching.

5pm - Look what Jerm did to the cinnamon rolls. It's a good thing we love him.

I forgot to take any photos after 5pm, but I’m calling it good anyway. Happy Saturday!

We did it! (End of school photos)

So since we are doing year-round schooling, we aren’t going to have a normal summer break, but we’ll be off for the next five weeks or so.  When we get back home we will have a few weeks left to finish up all the loose ends and do some review before jumping into the next year of schooling.

Since this will be our summer break we took a few photos to celebrate the (sort of) end of kindergarten and first grade.

They did well this year.  I’ve learned that homeschooling isn’t an easy thing; it’s hard work and requires more patience than I naturally possess.  But it’s also rewarding and fun.  I’m proud of my girls.

Also, scared of next year.  Bring on the break.

I know I’m a day late, but since I’ve skipped the last few months I wanted to participate anyway.  Besides, yesterday was full of stuff like dentist appointments.  Nobody wants to see that, right?

It’s a hideous, beastly cold day here, so it’ll be interesting trying to take photos inside.

Finally broke down and bought a cute Valentine towel. I’m sure it will be ruined by tomorrow.

What genius is this?! I wish I would have thought of it first.
