So since we are doing year-round schooling, we aren’t going to have a normal summer break, but we’ll be off for the next five weeks or so. When we get back home we will have a few weeks left to finish up all the loose ends and do some review before jumping into the next year of schooling.
Since this will be our summer break we took a few photos to celebrate the (sort of) end of kindergarten and first grade.
They did well this year. I’ve learned that homeschooling isn’t an easy thing; it’s hard work and requires more patience than I naturally possess. But it’s also rewarding and fun. I’m proud of my girls.
9am – the girls first priority in the morning is to tend to their little grass seedlings.
10am – Room #3 of the great flooring remodel.
11am – Helping daddy out.
12am – Boooooo. I feel like I spend half of my life grocery shopping.
1pm – I swear, I told her she was too big for it. She didn’t seem to care.
2pm – It was beautiful out today.
3pm – Still enjoying the sunshine.
4pm – Oooh, found season 4 at my local library.
5pm – Finishing up a project
8pm – Late-night treat with grandpa and grandma.
December 13 – This cracks me up. Not only did Jerm (with help from the girls) wrap the gifts he got me, but he also looked up a youtube video on creating bows…!!! It’s something else, isn’t it? 🙂 Totally made my day.
December Twelfth – Thanks to a tiny thrift store I’m gradually building up my game closet (they even had an OLD Mille Bornes there today, mom!). Now I have Risk so dad can take over the world for the millionth time next time he visits and Lewis’s beware! I’m bringing that other one over on Christmas.
