DIY Ornaments: Cardboard Snowflakes/Stars

Guess what these cute snowflakes are made of?

December 2012 010

Yep, toilet paper rolls. 🙂
Just cut each roll into 5-6 equal pieces, then glue each piece together. I used hot glue, but held them together with clothespins for a few minutes to make sure they would hold together nicely.
They’re actually pretty cute just like that, but I painted them white (spray paint), then added some glitter.
Cause around here we like sparkle.

They’re pretty on the tree, but we decided we liked ours hanging in front of the window, alongside some string balls we made earlier this week.
