End of School Photos

I know, it’s almost time to start again, but I wanted to share these for moms sake, at least.   A couple things I’ve learned about taking photos like these:

  • Use a huge font when printing the grade/age/date/etc.  It may look ridiculous when you tupe it up, but that’s the only way you’ll be able to read it in the photo.
  • Don’t use a frame.  Unless you want A) a massive glare that will blind you, or B) to see your tubby reflection in the photo (EEK!).  I may try using a frame without the glass this next time around.
  • If you have a pouty blonde-haired kid, just break down and bribe her if you have to.

I’m busy ordering books and planning schedules and hyperventilating and stuff, and hopefully we’ll be ready to start first grade and kindergarten in the next few weeks.  I could probably use some prayers….

  1. I was just telling Jared I planned on doing this ever year till Harley and Hudson Graduate so that I can look back and have a good cry.

  2. Hi Rebekah!

Thanks so much for stopping by so that I could find you!
Your daughters are beautiful :o) So happy to have found your site!
So many great ideas. I showed my kids your jello aquarium, and they just about screamed with excitement . . . so I guess I know what we’ll be doing next week.
    Have a great weekend,

  3. A DOR A BLE! You are ridiculously funny with your reference to reflections, but glad you decided to make the font HUGE. 🙂
    Thank you for the pictures.
