I had all these grand plans for January to be the month that I finally got down to business on the master bedroom, but somewhere between the school and laundry and exercising and five disasters a day, I somehow let the entire month slip by without getting anything on my bedroom list done.
Honestly, I’ve kind of been in one of those funks where I don’t want to do anything but read after all the have-to-do stuff of the day has been completed, so other than doing some organizing and purging in my craft room I haven’t done much in the creative department.
Wandering through the Valentines Day displays at the store kind of helped pull me out of the funk a little though, which inspired me to finish a project that I started probably a year ago (eek!).
I made this little “pallet” art last year out of wood shims and never decided what I wanted to put on it, so I dusted it off (literally) and added a sparkly heart in honor of V-day.
I kind of love it. Seriously. I’m such a sap.
