I’ve been wanting to make a sugar scrub for a long time and I happened to have all of the supplies on hand already, so it was super simple to throw together.
- 2 cups sugar
- Grapeseed oil (or coconut oil, but I wasn’t sure if the smell would mix well with the peppermint)
- Peppermint Essential Oil
- Glass container
I didn’t measure the oil, just continued adding it to the sugar until it was about the same consistency as the scrubs I’ve bought in the past. I probably wouldn’t have picked green for the tint, but the oil took care of that for me. 🙂
Add in a few drops of peppermint oil, put in a cute jar, add a label, and you’re done. This smells sooo good!
I have several other gift ideas that in-progress right now. I’d hoped to get them finished up to post this week, but life is crazy so I’m just taking the days as they come. Next week I have a few generic/neighbor/hostess gifts planned.
Anybody else working on homemade gifts right now?
